A delicious warm alternative to your little one's breakfast porridge!
Makes 1 (in your Ivy Wild Kids silicone bowl or single serving oven-proof dish - increase ingredients for larger serving) ⠀⠀
Prep: 10 mins - Bake: 25 mins (can be prepped night before & refridgerated) Suitable from 6 months (cut fruit well)
Ingredients: ⠀⠀
• 1/2 small banana or 1/3 large banana
• Approx 25g porridge oats
• 150ml milk or milk alternative⠀
• 1/2 egg (rest of egg mixture can be refrigerated) ⠀
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1tsp cinnamon
• 1 handful blueberries
Method: ⠀⠀
1) Heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (360 Fahrenheit)
2) Grease your bowl/dish with a few sprays of olive oil or butter
3) Slice banana into strips, lay the slices in the bottom of the bowl/dish
4) Cover the banana with the oats⠀
5) Whisk together milk, egg, vanilla and cinnamon⠀
6) Poor the wet ingredients over the oats
7) Scatter the blueberries on top
8) Pop in the oven and bake for 25 mins (until the oats have absorbed the liquid)
9) Serve once cooled down (make sure you check the temperature all the way through the dish/bowl before serving to your little one)
